Helpful info for those attending Opening Day at Turner Field

With an overflow crowd expected to be present for tonight’s Opening Day game against the Phillies, the Braves encourage all fans to arrive early.  Parking lots will open at 2 p.m. ET and the gates will open at 4:40 p.m. ET.

Fans planning to park in the Braves owned stadium parking lots must pre-purchase a parking pass.  Click here to buy a pass.

If you do not purchase a pass, you are encouraged to use MARTA as your transportation to tonight’s game.   The MARTA Braves shuttle will begin running from the Underground/Five Points station to Turner Field at 5:50 p.m and will be in operation until one hour after the final out.  If you wish to arrive earlier, MARTA recommends three other available bus routes (the #32, #49 or #55) that originate from the Five Points station.

The Braves ticket windows opened at 9:30 a.m. Fans can purchase standing room only tickets ($21) or pick up pre-purchased tickets.  The windows will remain open until the end of the sixth inning.

Fans are encouraged to be in their seats by 6:20 p.m. ET to enjoy all of the pregame festivities.  Chipper Jones will throw out the ceremonial first pitch.  Country music star Rodney Atkins will stage a pregame concert in the Fan Plaza at 5:20 p.m. ET and then sing the national anthem.

All fans are also encouraged to use the new and free At The Ballpark app, which is available for iPhone and Android users.  Visit  www.braves.com/ballpark to download.

In celebration of Opening Week, At The Ballpark users can take advantage of these special offers:

  • On Opening Day, every 30th person who checks in using the At The Ballpark App will receive a Dale Murphy replica jersey.
  • After Opening Day and throughout the rest of the Homestand, the first 500 fans who check-in each day will get a foam tomahawk.
  • On Friday, April 5, one lucky person who checks in using the At The Ballpark app will be selected to watch the Braves postgame fireworks from the field.
